    Hi Derek,

Just got my copy of the rules and immediately flicked to the fiw army lists as they are my first pick of era for sp2. Question (I dont want to bother Richard): why are French indian units poor shots while brit ones aren’t while being the same points cost? Or am I reading it wrong?

Love your figures btw, any chance of close ups?

I don’t know why he chose to make the indians allied to the French Poor Shots, but it’s not that much of a disadvantage, a full strength group would roll 11 dice, compared to the British allies 12 dice.

    Hi Derek.

I came across this post after a google search as I am about to do exactly the same thing. I have had two painted sides for Muskets & Tomahawks in 15mm for a while, but recently discovered Sharp Practice (currently playing AWI) and decided to ‘convert’ my FIW forces in the way that you have done.

I was about to order sabot bases from my usual supplier, but now I have seen the ones provided by Supreme Littleness Designs I think I will use them instead. I really like the ragged edges, especially for a game like Sharp Practice and the FIW setting.

So thanks for posting this. I’ll take a look to see what else you have written about this project.
